The cabin was cozy, well appointed and so peaceful and quiet. Peg thought of everything and left lots of notes for us to make it very easy to find everything we needed.”

“My wife and I had a amazing time. the property is very beautiful and peaceful, being in the woods with no distractions of cell phones and other people gave us the chance to clear our minds and really relax. Dave and Terry are great hosts. made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the property and our stay. We will be going back again. t least once a year to regenerate our souls. :}”

“Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather.”

“This was our 5th trip to this cabin. We really love the remote area and the atmosphere. This year it seemed a little more worn and we had a minor issue but overall it’s a great place!”

“The cabin was great! A little confusion at the outset getting power (we had to turn on main breaker). Nice quiet place to come home to after doing some contractor work in Alfred. The only thing that would make it better is Wifi to be able to get some work done remotely but not a big deal. Hopefully will be able to stay again each year of the work contract.”

“This is a beautiful place to bring your family or just get away with your spouse. The cabins were very clean and comfortable. Beds were big enough to sleep 2 adults. Cabin had electricity with was very helpful for charging phones and having light to see at night. Bathrooms are conveniently located right across from all the cabins which was nice. It was so peaceful being right next to the river, the sounds of nature were very relexing. We will definitely be coming back over and over again to this……
