We had an amazing time at Auberge Port Gitana. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the views are unbeatable. Hotel was clean, new and spacious. The room was well designed and quiet. Continental breakfast was great and worthwhile. I stayed on a higher floor (7th) and it was perfect with no discernible street noise. Tram nearly across the street from the hotel takes you right downtown Geneva. Was close enough to the Palexpo convention center that I walked there every day (about 1.4 mile walk through quiet streets to the back entrance of the convention center). The location of the hotel is great, right on the lake, close to the water shuttle and good restaurants. The staff were helpful and nice. My only negative was the breakfast. The salmon and the lemon were dried up and the orange juice watery. We decided to pass on eating there.

I have stayed in Geneva several times a year for many years, and found a new favorite here. The room - especially the bathroom! - was great; the front desk staff - especially Valentina! - was superlative; we loved the location; and we were delighted they were able to put us in our room right away when we arrived jet lagged at 9 am.

This is an older but very well maintained hotel. He staff was a little rude at initially greeting us but redeemed themselves with great service the rest of our stay. The hotel is in a business and government district so it’s a little quieter on weekends.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff and they let us check in early. Thank you. Restaurant on the property which was nice since there aren’t any within walking distance. The only complaint was the lack of cool air in the room. We had to ask for a fan.

Stayed here for a few nights for business (UN agencies, short bus ride away): location is practical (right next to airport + train station - just jump on the #5 bus - same bus also takes you into the city). Mindful that this is mainly serving the conference centre and so is a working location, not for touristy purposes. Fabulous restaurants, bar, staff, location. This is a true five star hotel. The best of the best.

Central location, well connected to public transport. Very clean and well kept.

Stayed only for 1 night but staff was very friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle was accommodating and convenient; but, caution: shuttle runs only between 4:40am - 11:45pm.
