Modest clean VRBO in bend
The property was clean. It could have offered more shampoo , body wash etc. Only small tube of each provided . Queen bed mattress not great. Overall the place is nice. In bend there are lots of these converted garage VRBO places !

We loved our stay in the Mod Pod. It was sparkling clean when we arrived and we had everything we needed. Really appreciated the basic spices and cooking necessities. While the location wasn’t easily walkable to downtown it was a very quick drive and very convenient. The AC is only in the main living space, not the bedroom so in the warmer months you definitely need to leave the window open at night. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend a stay in the mod pod.

Only thing I did t likes is who ever owns the big black dodge truck parked n front of the driveway excluding me to park there only once but he was parked in front of the property every night I was there’s so I’m assuming he knows it’s a rental also there’s 2 signs posted not to block the driveway. But other than that we loved the property. We’ll definitely stay again

We really enjoyed our stay in the Mod Pod. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It seemed to be well equipped (we didn’t do any actual cooking) and they even provided coffee and tea! Our only issues were trying to find it. A little more direction in the check-in instructions would have been helpful as it’s not on the same street as the address, but just around the corner. And the bed was a bit soft for my liking, but we would totally stay here again.

So so…
We visited Bend for the first time and stayed at the Mod Pod. The property is easy to find, easy to check in and relatively new and modern. The kitchen is better stocked than most other VRBO and AirB&B. The management company was friendly and attempted to be helpful when contacted. There are some additional areas that we want to note for future travelers. First, the location isn’t ideal. The property is out of the way. It wasn’t far from the interesting areas of Bend but certainly isn’t in a beautiful, interesting or ideal location. In short, the location is “good enough.” Second, the loft is specifically listed for storage in the unit. We were hoping to use it as a place for kids to sleep to provide more room for the adults to relax. Instead the kids have to sleep in the main room. This limits the freedom of parents in the evening. Third, while we generally found the bathroom and other areas clean, we did find hair on the sheets on the main bed and the sheets in the closet for the pullout bed. Fourth, the wifi is unstable. It went out 4 or 5 times during our stay. We had to routinely unplug the router to get the internet back. Fifth, the biggest issue was the air conditioning. The mini-split air conditioner built into the wall is completely dead. The hosts have provided a floor standing portable air conditioner to make up for it. Unfortunately, during hot 95 degrees days it is inadequate. The temperature increases steadily over the course of the day. This makes afternoon, dinner, and evening increasingly uncomfortable. For our group, it made it very difficult to sleep which significantly detracted from our visit to Bend. It is important to note that when we notified the host they were friendly and wanted to help. They offered to bring over additional fans and suggested opening the windows. While well intentioned, these didn’t help and left us stuck sleeping poorly. One final item, there were a phenomenal number of bees/wasps near the trash cans and front plants at the time of our stay. They did not bother us. However if you are allergic, we’d suggest being careful.

Cute little place. Comfortable with everything in the kitchen you could imagine! Just over a mile from Drake Park and the river. The neighborhood reeks of pot at all hours though, so if you are bothered by the smell, you may not enjoy the cute little outside patio.
