factory like hotel

Pros: location
Cons: personel
It appears to be a factory hotel. Customers in, customers out. No particular care or help to the guests.

Nice, average business hotel near metro

Posted Nov 17, 2015
Pros: I was on the first floor. While there was plenty of noise in the lobby area, I didn't hear it in my room.
Cons: The cost of extras is quite high. Seems petty, but the bath towels were really rough.
Location: Bethesda Row art house movie theater is within a half mile
I stayed here three days for a business trip. It was not an unpleasant experience, it was just average. The price for the room was reasonable for the DC area, but everything in the hotel was really expensive. It's location is at the Bethesda Metro rail station, which is very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants, stores and movie theaters within a half mile. My room was not dark at night, so bring a sleep mask if that bothers you.

All other hotels were full. I had to stay here.

Posted Nov 11, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Room smell. Renovate bathroom.
Location: Many places around for breakfast and lunch.
Room smelled as I walked in. Bath tub curtains were filthy. Tub was clogged. I asked for repair. They worked on it. It was still clogged when I left. They had some remodeling going on. In the morning I woke up as somebody was hammering something on the was for good 20 min. Staff was nice.

Close to the metro

We loved how close to the metro this hotel was. It is within walking distance of movie theaters and grocery stores.

Great location , Quality , easy transportation

Posted Nov 2, 2015
I grew up in Bethesda before the Metro was put in and I was quite happy and surprised how well we could get around… The hotel staff was quick and courteous, valet parking was good, and we were able to use a metro to get to Mazza galleria The zoo and back-and-forth to my sons Annamae convention

This place does not deserve to be a Hyatt?

Posted Oct 30, 2015
Pros: NOTHING!!!
We will NEVER go back let alone recommend this place but rather warn people about it. Extremely untrained staff sent us to the wrong room-someone was sleeping in it. We had 2 reservations and they couldn't find it. The room hardly had any electrical outlets so that I had to crawl on the floor to plug in the coffee machine-really at this day and age? No plugs at the bedside. Extremely annoying stay, no-one needs this agony for the price of over $300. Shame on you Hyatt.

Great Location

Posted Oct 29, 2015
Cons: Fans in the bathroom to help with steam removal.
Location: Right on top of a Metro stop, only a few blocks for a variety of restaurants.
Being this close to the metro pretty much means you are only about 30 minutes away from anything you might want to do. Hotel is just a slightly older style - but they have definitely worked to update it. Fans in the bathroom would be much appreciated. The convenience store was nice but, very pricy.

Convenient hotel

Posted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Nice comfortable bed and room.
Cons: Sound proofing between rooms.
Location: Hotel is located right about the DC Metro stop in Bethesda, so very convenient to get into downtown or anywhere along the Red Line.
This is a large hotel -- somewhat impersonal. Sound proofing between rooms is poor. There was a plumbing problem for which an engineer came to my room to assess. He left promising to come back, but never did. I left my breakfast order hanging on the door knob as instructed before going to bed, but it never was picked up. So no in-room breakfast the next morning. On the other hand, the bed and room was comfortable.
