Go with a tour that has the clear kayaks, you can see the glowing fish and phytoplankton under you. Don’t bring valuables or anything that will get wet and don’t wear bug spray, it contaminated the water when you put your hands and arms in. Forget the camera and phone, you can’t capture the glow without a special camera. Mosquito Bay was not named because of mosquitos. We didn’t get bit at all.

A little touristy but absolutely worth it, such a magical place.

I recommend a kayak tour to go see the bay. It's a beautiful and fun experience. I signed up for the Bieques Bio Bay Tours.

Make sure to plan your trip so you DON'T go when there is a FULL MOON. It is too bright.

We did kayak tour at night. It was beautiful views of the sky. The bio light is like glitter in the water. Our tour was 3 mile kayak with some against current in some very dark areas of the water but something to check off bucket list!
