Almost every thing is good except that the shower drain on the floor is very slow, it need to be unclogged. And here’s another one, we heard people doing something next room and it woke us up otherwise the place is in quiet area area away from the main rood.

Family (parents and older teen) booked a two bedroom bungalow and were given one large room with 4 double beds, which was a big disappointment. We had purposely booked the two bedroom bungalow as our son had a 5am race and we didn’t want to be wakened by him getting ready in the morning. Having to share one room made our trip less comfortable. We spoke to the front desk at check-in but the bungalow we had booked was occupied and there wasn’t a good option for moving us. We were told we would be given a discount on the room due to the mistake, but I haven’t seen it come through yet. The room we were given did not have WiFi instructions, a wastebasket, or cutlery, though the front desk was helpful when we called and sent additional supplies to our room. Location was fine and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

They really shouldn’t be open at this point. The place needs a lot of work, including doors that close and lock properly. Having no reception (not disclosed) and having to learn from a handyman that I had to check in at the trees motel several blocks away was unacceptable. There were no towels or blankets in the room when I arrived back from my remote check-in, and the floor was covered with dirt and leaves, blown in because the door wouldn’t shut and was probably open all day before I got there. I had to explain to the handyman how to fix the strike plate. Seriously, they really should not have been open.

Now as a traveler and no longer a resident of Bishop, we found your upgrades cheerful and very comfortable. The service was exceptional and the staff were nicely inviting. We will definitely include a stay at El Rancho the next time we are traveling in your area. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay at El Rancho to anyone.
