“We return here because it’s close to the river centrally located near the end interstate near the town of Radford. We love the accommodations of the Hilton, the indoor swimming pool, the pool table the variety of snacks and of course our favorite is the breakfast in the morning with the automatic pancake maker.”
“Breakfast was terrible. At 8:30 there were no sausage links left, no breads, mini muffins were dry, hot water was lukewarm,. Waffle stuck in the iron despite spritzing with spray. What few eggs were left were dried up. In the room everything was clean and neat; however, the vent fan on the bathroom was as loud as a jet engine taking off The AC kept shutting off all night and I’d wake up too warm. I reset it several times. The microwave did not work. Overall a very disappointing stay.”
“We very much enjoyed our stay at the lodge but did have a couple of concerns worth sharing. The staff was generally friendly and helpful as we needed ice for my wife's medicine to stay cold and the ice machine in the lodge was failing for the time that we were there and staff provided it from the kitchen. The room was clean however many other parts of the lodge were lacking in that regard. The window sills adjacent to the tables out on the balcony must not have been cleaned for weeks at best……
