"This home is great for a peaceful get-away. With the exception of one other home nearby, it's almost on its own, so it's quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of nature. A short drive took us down through a neighborhood to sit by the lake. Back at the house, it was nice to end evenings watching the bright stars from the porch. "Charming, spacious and peaceful. It was the perfect vacation for us. Loved spending every morning doing devotions on the deck overlooking the New River with a hot cup of coffee. Good restaurants, shopping and attractions close by, yet we were out in the country. During our stay, other vacationers began arriving with their horses for New River Trail riding and we got to "visit" with some of the horses. It was just wonderful. We didn't want to come home. Hoping to stay again soon!"

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."
