Watch as the geese glide into land, browse at the herd of deer grazing in the meadow next door, catch a glimpse of the giant Blue Heron who often visits this tranquil valley. Cool off with a swim in the river. Bring a tube and walk up stream and float your stress away. Experience magic. The Space Enjoy all this from a newly remodeled five-star cabin that includes details such as professional hair care products, luxurious bedding and towels, a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, a game room with Air Hockey and Foosball, a movie room with a 75" Smart TV/Sound Bar/DVD/Blu-ray player, two fireplaces(one firepit) to choose from, a wide assortment of board games, poker set, cards, a luxury Bull Frog Hot Tub with lounge seat, 2 king masters with balconies overlooking the river. You simply will not find a nicer cabin in a more idyllic setting. Guest Access You will enjoy access to the entire home and nearly 1,000 feet of private riverfront as we own two additional lots and three adjacent homes. Other things to note Note that our base rate is for 4 people and that the rate increases $15 per night per each additional Guest up to 8 total Guests or an additional $60 per night. This allows us to offer a more reasonable rate for smaller parties. PETS- While we do allow a pet, we only allow one dog that is 50 pounds or less and at least 2 years old. We require a Vet Health Certificate confirming the dog's age, weight, and that its vaccinations are current along with a photo of the dog. Note that there is a pet fee of $35/night with a $70 minimum charge per stay. Now with Fiber Internet! Please note, while access to the cabin is generally easy(we drive a Hyundai Sonota Hybrid), the last \~1/3 of a mile is on a community maintained gravel road. Parking for up to 3 cars is off-street and there are no stairs to enter the cabin. Finally, note that our air conditioning and heating system is set to allow for a minimum temperature setting of 72 degrees and maximum temperature of 76 degrees.. Experience has taught us that these temperatures are very comfortable for most Guests and is an important part of our energy conservation program. In the event that a Guest desires a lower or higher setting, we are happy to accommodate this need allowing a setting as low as 68 or 80 degrees for a surcharge of $10/night. We will be available to help at any time during your stay. We have lived in the area for years and are happy to help in any way we can. From restaurants to activities, our Welcome Book which will be provided covers many details of the area. Coosawattee River Resort is a gated community that consists of over 5,500 acres. Amenities offered within the community include parks, tennis courts, a rec center with an indoor pool, and more. Note that all these amenities are now included with our $60 Resort Fee for up to 8 adults and unlimited kids! Two Guest Cards are provided at the cabin with each card admitting up to 4 adults to any of the facilities. Any kids must always be accompanied by adults. Please note that Guests are responsible for making certain the cards are returned to the cabin at the end of their stay. Any lost or missing cards will result in a $25 replacement fee. The home was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The sitting room that over looks the river was perfect to enjoy our morning coffee and have family conversations. The kitchen came fully stocked with all your cookie essentials, which was nice. We got to meet the host, Brad, who was very attentive and welcoming and provided suggestions on places to visit.If you enjoy wildlife, this is definitely a place to stay. From the start, the communication with Brad, the host, was so thorough and helpful. The cabin was decorated so cute and cozy but large enough to comfortably host 8\. The attention to detail was impressive - from the coffee bar in each room to the fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook any meal. Big windows offer a fantastic view of the creek and mountainside. We enjoyed seeing many deer and the baby geese. But the icing on the cake was fishing right outside the back door. We were able to trout fish every day without having to drive. A lovely firepit with very nice chairs and a delightful hot tub made our stay So Much Fun! Temp ac unit helped furniture was kind of worn in living room. But overall was on point for the price range. Lots of long messages from owner and owner was very thoughtful with much added helpful items labels and instructions. The gatehouse personnel could be much more accommodating. You can pretty much just bring you and your clothes because the home is equipped with just about everything you can think of. Our family loved fishing from the river, and simply just relaxing on the deck. We had deer Come around us at night and enjoyed the geese during the day always playing in the creek. Neighborhood amenities are nice to have on a down day with kids, but enjoy the winding ride to get to them. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is well stocked and we absolutely loved the apple pie. The backyard - having the bubbling river right outside was so soothing. Our boys (16,14) and our dog loved playing in the water. We were able to use both the hottub and the fire pit during our stay and both added to our wonderful vacation. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have stayed in. We wished we could have stayed much longer. We loved Ellijay and this awesome home. Brad is an amazing host and responded within minutes every time! ##### Gina J. Class Act Brad the property manager was absolutely fantastic to work with, we felt very comfortable booking this Cabin for our vacation from the very beginning. Great communication, wonderful website with guides to the resort along with great recommendations for activities around the area. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, the decor and use of space was really well thought out be the owners. Also, it was nice knowing that they owned all 4 properties along the river bank and that they were all rentals being vetted by Brad and the management company. We really enjoyed the game room, we stayed up all night playing air hockey. Very accommodating to our furry babies, even supplying a crate so we didn't need to bring one. I like to cook and at home I have a robust kitchen, most rentals are missing a lot of what you need to cook meals from scratch. This kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed and then some. Comfortable beds with rooms spread out around the house. Overall this was the best rental we have used and we will absolutely use Elestay properties when in the area in the future. ##### Kara W. Absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The entire family loved being able to walk right out the back door and go tubing. We went every day. Brad's house on the river was everything we hoped for when booking. Incredibly well maintained with beautiful views of the river. All the essentials were provided including firewood and an absolutely delcious Apple Pie. We saw deer on the property eveyday during our visit as we sat relaxing on the deck and by the firepit.
