Best cabin at Blue Ridge

This was our 2nd stay at this cabin with 6 adults. We enjoyed having a nice relaxing long weekend here with a spectacular view from the multiple decks on the back side of the house. We loved all of the amenities and they were just as described in the listing. The kitchen is pretty well equipped which made it easy to cook all of our meals. There is also a nice bar area downstairs with a pool table. Be sure to bring your bluetooth speaker as the jukebox in the basement doesn't work. It's more decor than functional. We did enjoy the outdoor fireplace area and also the gas log fireplaces inside during the cooler than normal time period. The beds are not very comfortable, especially in the bedroom with the twin beds on the top floor. There's also plenty of seating to enjoy a movie in the living area and a nice dining room table for playing games and eating meals. For the supposed high speed internet, we did clock the speed at 100 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up which is definitely not ideal or high speed, but functional for basic browsing and single device movie streaming. We did have issues with the basement gas log fireplace that lost its pilot light and also the basement wet bar refrigerator that leaked onto the floor and wouldn't cool. Other than that, the hot tub needs to be upgraded but semi-functional (i.e. most of the jets work).

March Cabin Weekend

Celtic Clouds Cabin was breathtaking. Between the views and the cabin itself, we were blown away. We had a group of 8 friends, and the cabin had plenty of space for lounging, sleeping, hanging out, etc. The hot tub and ping pong/pool table were great additions to the entertainment aspect of the trip. We had a fabulous trip celebrating two birthdays and made so many great memories with our friends! Best experience. Can’t wait to plan another trip!

I Don't Recommend This Cabin

There were several little things that wrong with this cabin: 1- The photos and captions describe three king beds when there are only two. One of the rooms downstairs actually has a queen bed in it now. The bedroom count describes two kings and a queen but the photos and captions show three kings. This should be updated asap. 2- There is a large jukebox included in the photos and the descriptions in the game room but it doesn't work. The owners have even posted a sign on the wall nearby that says it isn't currently working. This isn't a big thing, but it's a thing that helped us choose this cabin and it doesn't even work and the owners know it. This should be updated in the listing. 3- The hot tub is located on a deck away from the house under a small roof but none of the lights work. There is a light under the roof and spot lights mounted under the deck but we couldn't get them on. We tried all the switches, breakers, and new bulbs, to no avail. It seemed a little unsafe to us to walk from the hot tub to the house in complete darkness so we didn't use the hot tub. 4- The garage disposal in the kitchen needs to be replaced. There were several times where we had to go under the unit with the wrench to unclog it. There's a sign about not putting large food into the disposal but it clogged with us with small quantities of small food. It seems this unit should be replaced. 5- There are several steps in the lower staircase inside which are dangerous. These are carved from woo

Awesome getaway on top of a mountain

We enjoyed our stay at Celtic Clouds! The cabin was spacious and almost exactly as described. Though we initially had issues finding it (note the directions the host gives were not detailed enough to avoid missing the driveway), once I dropped a pin upon arrival the rest of our party was able to get there. The paved subdivision roads are extremely steep both up/down two hills. It may be difficult for small cars to make it up there without grinding the transmission and there may be issues if it's raining. We enjoyed the hot tub a couple of times. However, it is a bit dated and the jets intermittently work or not at all. Not a big deal for us though. The outdoor fireplace was very nice with the super comfy seating in front of it. There's also very comfortable seating along each level of the deck. The bedrooms are all spacious with large beds and nice bathrooms. The beds are not comfortable especially the the upstairs bedroom that has the twin and full size beds. I messaged the host after seeing previous review about it and they did not do anything about it despite assurances. The kitchen is pretty well equipped though we brought our own keurig and also plug in tea kettle. We did cook several times and also used the grill! The gas log fireplaces inside were nice to have on the chilly nights and the comfortable, spacious seating in the living room definitely made it cozy. Lastly, though host claimed great internet, I clocked speeds at ~100 Mbps down and ~5 Mbps up.

Great for big groups and no kids!

Celtic cloud was a beautiful stay- the views, the cabin, all of it. Even the drive (basically up the side of a mountain!). Our group had 5 couples and no children and we each had a room to ourselves, which I found very hard to find in the blue ridge area. We were only about 30 minutes away from the ocoee, and even that drive was scenic! We definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back in the future!

Great Cabin and Peaceful Views

So close to town, beautiful views and well kept and stocked. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Only thing needed was more towels as each room is only provided 2.

Easy to get to, yet private and luxurious

This place is nice! It feels high quality and the hot tub is wicked awesome! The hills are steep to get there and you go through a neighborhood of other houses that are closer together. This house is pretty secluded though. Pool table and table tennis were in great condition and the bar/kitchen is stocked with all the essentials.

Birthday Trip

Headed up here for a birthday trip and the cabin was perfect! Enough space for everyone to not feel right on top of one another. We used the spa and pool table every night. Had enough parking for everyone.

Spectacular views, disappointing amenities.

The views were incredible! Beautiful location on top of a [very steep] mountain! Easy access to multiple little towns, hikes and outdoor adventures. The outdoor spaces of the house were really great. Lots of seating for our big group of 7 friends. However, inside we struggled. There was only 1 small towel and one pillow per person, no extras in any of the closets. Since there is a hot tub, we expected to have extra towels but there were none. The house felt like a relatively new build but the linens all seemed much older. The beds in the kids room really are not sleep-able for adults. We ended up sharing beds in the rest of the house because those kids beds were awful. The wifi was very slow. We called the company to complain that it wasn’t working, they assured us that it was, it was just slow. So it’s definitely a great spot if you want to get away from technology for a while! Overall, it was a nice spot and the views out on the deck made it worthwhile. Just make sure you have a car with a big engine for the climb up the mountain, and take your own pillows and towels!

Amazing Adult get away

Perfectly Balanced

Our guests absolutely loved staying here. The location was easy to find and is fully furnished. We did bring a crockpot and a Keurig coffee maker. We did have one issue with the fireplace not turning off but it was handled within an hour of making a call to the office manager.

Cabin stay

The cabin and location were nice. The wifi did not work. The hot tub was cold. The outdoor tv and fan did not work. I emailed and got a prompt reply that maintenance was on their way. Maintenance never showed up so we were unable to use the hot tub or outdoor tv. Which were major selling points for us. So that was disappointing. Spent a premium to get outdoor relaxation in a hot tub only to not ha e it function correctly was disappointing. .

Family reunion

The property and location are beautiful. A few furnishings in the cabin have seen their better days. One of the beds needs a new mattress and the couch and chairs could be replaced. The dryer did not work, but management responded immediately and maintenance came out and replaced it.

Well laid out floor plan and outside areas. Perfect for a small family gathering. Bring your own firewood...outdoor fireplace with large tv will get a lot of use! Steep grades on roads leading to property. Will return to this property - it was great

Beautiful cabin

Cabin is very roomy. The real Worlitzer jukebox with real 45's is awesome! The tv above the main fireplace is a bit small for the space (maybe 34" flatscreen). Overall place is excellent!
