  • Nestled in the countryside in a semi-rural setting, this beautiful cottage offers couples and small families a fantastic base to explore an abundance of walking and cycle paths in the area, as well as its nearby towns and wonderful coastline. Visit the National Trust’s 900 acres of parkland, Lanhydrock Estate, with an abundance of history and cycle trails galore in nearby Cardinham Woods, both under 3 miles away. For golfers, the Lanhydrock Golf Course and restaurant is under 1 mile away. The property is centrally located and close to the A30, allowing easy access to both the North and South coasts allowing you to explore all that Cornwall has to offer!

    Stepping into this cosy home, you’ll find a space with wonderful modern comforts, yet still steeped in its historic past. Enter into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with deep window sills, exposed beams and original stone walls. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you'll need for your holiday and the dining area is perfect for a family meal. Retire to the lounge area, throw a log or two on the fire and watch the Smart TV after a day exploring. Upstairs, the character continues with vaulted ceilings throughout. There are two delightful bedrooms with tasteful interiors, both have Smart TV’s and share a contemporary family bathroom.

    Heading outside, there’s a courtyard with outdoor furniture, BBQ and a hot tub to completely unwind and relax in. This really is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy outdoor adventure.

    - 1 family bathroom with shower over bath and WC
    - Electric oven and electric hob, microwave and fridge
    - Welcome pack provided
    - Wood burner (logs are not provided)
    - Smart TV in lounge and bedrooms
    - 2 dogs welcome or 3 small dogs
    - Gravelled courtyard garden can be found to the side of the cottage and has outdoor seating, a BBQ and a hot tub (please be advised the hot tub usage is restricted to 10pm to respect the neighbours adjoining the property)
    - Private Hot tub - included in the price, must be requested prior to stay
    - Guests to bring towels for use in the hot tub
    - Driveway parking for 1 car and further private parking on the gravel to the front of the cottage
    - Beach 8 miles, shop 3 miles, golf course and restaurant 1 mile
    - Located next to a working farm
