The house is spacious, and the suites comfortably seperated by plenty of common areas. The house gives you the old house aesthetic while being in outstanding repair, my mold allergies did not trigger and I was able to use the inside and outside common areas comfortably. Everything was clean and thoughtfully decorated. The after hours table begs for a microwave, but other than that the snack area was convenient. The host provide an outstanding breakfast in a semi formal dining room. Europeans style service with multiple small courses prsented in turn and ample opportunities for table talk. Very convenient, about 35 min to most locations, which is good once you get used to the distances here. We were in the area for a wedding. The wedding venue was 13 minutes away. The room was cozy with our own bathroom. We had a great time. But seeemed a little over priced for what it is. The place could be better if some more effort were put into it. We felt right at home. Bernard and Tessa will make you feel right at home. The house is beautiful. You have to understand that it's old and enjoy it as such. It's beautiful inside and out. Very well maintained. The surroundings are beautiful. The attention from Tessa and Bernard is exceptional! The breakfasts are special, very well prepared, different and well presented and served. First time that lodging is part of what we enjoyed on our trip.
