“I communicated twice with host on arrival time at 6-7pm but there was nobody there serving us. We had to get keys from the owner of the restaurant next door. Nobody spoke English! The BnB is on a walking street so finding it was a pain. Parking is on street and we needed to haul our luggage from parking spot to BnB then another 20 steep steps to room. It was a very unpleasant check in experience ”

“Well appointed property within 5 minutes walking distance of good restaurants and about 10 minutes from the beach. Very helpful owner assisted us with car service to the Palermo airport and train station. Breakfast is self serve with in a large kitchen, with coffee, various cakes and cookies, yogurt, sliced meats and eggs (to cook) and is available from 4 am. Substantial street noise at night but the air conditioning with fan at full setting created enough white noise to drown most of it out. ……

“Once I'd found the entrance behind the gate, everything fell into place, and the hostess was so helpful and friendly throughout - there is car parking inside the gate, and the room itself was a good size, with effective aircon and a fridge - there were though a few mosquitoes about, so bring repellant in the warmer months. The bathroom for the room (just one step across the hallway) was compact, but the shower effective and it was all well lit. A short ten minute walk gets you to the……
