"Hotel is miles from Honfleur and on an industrial park. First room offered was on ground floor where window opened onto cars parked outside. So we asked to move. Next room had broken air con so once again we had to ask to move. Third room had broken door lock - we had to be given the key rather than card key. The toilet lid fell off whilst we were there. "A well converted / preserved townhouse in Lisieux. The bonus for us was secure parking. Restaurant and bar closed on Monday (our visit) but the nearby Brit Hotel was a good alternative. Walk across a local manicured park or down a side street to the cathedral but I noticed all the tourist info. for Lisieux mentioned going elsewhere after seeing the cathedral. Relatively friendly town and a really nice quiet place to stay for the traveller. "

"A pleasant place for our one night stopover but would have been good for longer. The position on the lake was lofelu. Staff were friemdly and helpful and it was good to get a vegan meal with advance warning. The only drawbacks are that there no lift (but next time we will request a ground floor room) and the shower is over the bathub and not separate. However, we loved our stay and will happily return."
