“My husband didn’t like having to go up 60+ stairs to our room and he found the bed a bit ‘lumpy’. We didn’t have breakfast as we left at 6.30 am to catch the ferry.
Stair carpet looks tired and ready for replacement.
Conveniently located for the ferry port and near to the beach front. Plenty of restaurants offering good menu choices in the area.”

“Lovely renovated old mansion from the 1860s. Our room was quite large with a separate sitting area. Sondrine and Roldolphe provided a lovely breakfast and atmosphere. We took the option of having them make dinner for us one evening and it was excellent. The location is beautiful. We walked down to the Arromanches beach one afternoon and toured the excellent museum. About a 25 minute walk.”

“Beautiful orchard with many cows and apple trees. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious with the hosts’ own products eg apple juice, jam, honey and hot milk. The hosts William and Dominique were lovely. I miss the stay in the farm.”
