Absolutely Awesome Beach Front Rural Retreat.

Two cosy cabins joined by a spacious deck on a cliff top overlooking the ocean. With extensive and uninterrupted ocean views to your front and tranquil rural views to the rear. Enjoy relaxing in the hot tub while you watch the sunset or the moon rise. Take walks or runs on the farm. Enjoy the unpopulated beach from your own private access. Swim, surf cast, boogie board, surf at times or just relax with a book. Quiet and private but only 7 minutes drive from Pukehina stores which include takeaway's, dairy and off license. 40 minutes to Tauranga and Whakatane, 45 to Rotorua. Cabin One has the kitchen and dining area and also a foldout bed. The lounge converts to a bedroom with a Queen sofa bed and has it's own bathroom. Cabin Two has a Queen bed, a single bed and a foldout bed. It also has it's own bathroom. There is also an outdoor shower. There is a sheltered patio with a BBQ and a washing machine is located at the rear. There is parking for 3 vehicles and storage for kayaks. boards or fishing rods under cabin Two. The cabins are off grid and are powered by a solar power system and back up generator. There is TV, WIFI and good cell phone service. Top Deck is easily accessed by helicopter with private property landing at the back gate.

Just gorgeous wee place

What a find this wee place is - spectacular views of the ocean and a wonderful soak in the hot tub. Well equipped kitchen and great shower pressure. We much enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed riding over your beautiful farm

Paradise

Wonderfully appointed cabins with quality bedding and everything you need for a restful getaway from life's stressors. It's super quiet with just the sound of the sea and the off moo from the cattle. The beach is your own, so private and absolutely stunning. Oh and the hot tub is the icing on this fabulous coastal cake.

Overlooking the beachfront

Due to the challenging weather on arrival we found our accommodation space limited but once the weather improved we enjoyed the full potential of this private rural location. We were able to utilise the facilities provided (BBQ, hot tub, lovely outdoor deck- for enjoying the scenery) and walk along the beautiful sandy beach.

Oh wow. Sad to have left this awesome bach. Everything you could wish for - stunning views, complete privacy and seclusion, amenities and a hot tub to boot. Pukehina Paradise

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 11 days of Spring at this farm meets beach property. We woke to panoramic ocean views, and before breakfast would greet the cows and horses in the paddocks behind the cabins. The cabins are solar powered, with gas for cooking and heating water. The water is sourced from the ground and is noticeably gentle on hair/skin, and tastes fresh. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming and very helpful before & during our stay, they would stop by to refuel the generator on cloudy days to ensure we always had power, check if we needed fresh linen, and available to help with any queries. The town center was approx 15 mins by car, so we would visit every couple of days to get enough food to store in the mini fridge and cupboard, for stove top cooking. We made use of the hot tub, and enjoyed looking out at a moody ocean while staying cosy in the tub. We highly recommend this property if you’re looking to getaway from the hustle and bustle, in a rural setting, with the beach to yourselves except for the local resident NZ fur seal.
