“The cabin was just like it said. HOWEVER... the cleanliness was absolutely awful. We are not ones to complain as we visit many places. This particular cabin was bad. I understand cobwebs and dust in a wooded cabin. I also understand its a cabin thar allows pets. So we didnt expect it to be immaculate. What we did expect was clean towels and showers. There were literally medication patches stuck to the shower walls. The towels had stains on them. There was hair stuck to the shower walls...

“The Trail Tamer was a great place to stay it was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. It wasn’t quite as private as I thought it would be but the people that were staying in the other cabins nearby were pretty quiet. There are about a dozen cabins in this little area. The blackout blinds provided all the privacy you wanted. There is a Keurig coffee pot that wasn’t in the pictures I saw on line. “It’s perfect. Really. Beautiful build. Interior like brand new. Spacious green surroundings. Only problem, I thought because the location was Stanton it would be closer to the gorge. We spent way too much time in our car because 1. It rained the whole time, but also how far it was to drive to the Gorge Underground, Miguel’s or other popular spots. Perfect setting for staying put and not going anywhere. Lovely back porch in the woods with comfortable seating. 5”

“Lumber Lodge is the perfect place for a get a way in RRG. Convenient to everything. Very clean. WiFi was great because service in the gorge is spotty. Lots of towels!! Porch overlooking woods a wonderful place to relax after hiking. Would definitely come again.”
