"Great place to stay"

"I stayed a week with my family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children age 9, 10, and 14). We had an amazing stay. The lake water is super clear. The area is so peaceful and relaxing. The house comes with 2 kayaks, a paddle boat, and even some tubes for floating. The water was a good depth and temperature for swimming. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals. I've been booking with VRBO for almost 10 years and this host was by far the kindest and most responsive person I've worked with. They replied to most messages within minutes. They even provided popsicles for the 4th of July holiday!"

"What a serene spot! The property was just as listed! We were here for just 2 overnights and spent the day in Walker. Great morning coffee on the deck, saw deer and turkeys … if you want a place to get away, this is it! Jim was great to work with and accommodating. Only problem we had was a VRBO/Google Maps issue — listen to Jim’s directions and map the exact address. The “get directions” option on VRBO took us to the area but not the place! Everything else was easy! "

"12 of our family of 13 joined us for a week at this beautiful property. One adult son was traveling on business so could not make it but hoping to join us next summer since we already reserved for 2026! We have been taking our family for a week “Up North” for 14 years. This was our first week at this property and all agree this is our favorite for this stage of our lives. Ages range for 3-70. Great fishing for younger kids right from dock and walleye, northern, bass, crappies in our bay and around the chain of lakes. Kayaking was amazing and kids had a blast on the swimming raft. The lakehome was exactly as described. Gave our families their own space plus plenty room for all as a group together…meals, games, campfire, deck, screened porch, outdoor running space. We have our own boat but pontoon was on site, available to rent. Longville is a quick 4 mile drive by car or about 10 minutes by boat. “ Woodpile” is a fun place to eat in Longville. Lake views from every room! Dan promptly answered any questions we had. We look forward to our next visit! Wonderful Northern Minnesota experience!"

"Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. It's such a beautiful location and convenient to Longville. With that being said you MUST attend the turtle races every Wednesday. Our grand kids had a blast!!! Dan was extremely responsive to our needs and we would definitely book again! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us."

"If anyone is looking for a peaceful "get-away", this is it! We stayed there for five nights and got to wake up in the morning to have coffee on the deck while listening to all the birds. Chris and Chelsi couldn't have been more accommodating as far as helping us with any questions prior to getting there and with our reservations. Once we got there, I was impressed with what they offered as far as amenities (I have a time share that offers far less than what they do). We spent our time out on the trail riding our side by side and always looked forward to coming home to the peace of the place. We are both retired college teachers (so know the hustle and bustle of life, but sometimes crave quiet). This is the perfect place to just relax/unwind/reconnect with nature. Plus, it's just gosh darn beautiful! And, even though we were there in the middle of June (2025), there were no bugs/deerflies/mosquitoes/etc. Perfect days!"
