“Amazing rustic cottage for our couples getaway weekend! The sandy beach was perfect for games, swimming and water crafts. It was so peaceful and felt so private being on the end of a small lake. Pool table was a huge hit, along with the other indoor games provided. The check-in process was so easy and tons of parking. Would 100% come back here next year, and we hope to. ”

The cottage is cozy, well-maintained, and sits on a stunning lake that’s perfect for swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. “Beautiful location with great little dock and water toys. Daily wildlife sightings. Generally quiet, however neighbours are within 15m on both sides, so noise can be outside your control. Lake is motor-free. Cottage feel as appliances, furniture, ac, etc. are all older, but everything works well. Lots of pans, utensils and glassware, which is always appreciated. Deck is marvelous, and includes 2 shaded areas: One for eating outdoors with a BBQ, and one to sit or do yoga, or whatever.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Lac Ouimet. The lawn and gardens were phenomenal and the dock was an incredible place to have a morning coffee. The water is quite shallow quite far out so it’s fantastic for kids. The kayaks were also great fun! Thank you for an excellent stay. We will be booking again soon! ”

“Check in was quick and easy. Communication with the host was efficient. There is NO POOL!! They show you a picture of a public pool offsite. (Have to drive to it) The cottage floors were dirty from a previous party. Spider webs everywhere. The pool cues for the billiard table were broken. For 2700 for 2 nights it was SUPER over priced. ”

“Sitting on the river with a view of raw nature was perfect. The fireplace was utilized a lot. Lol. The stars and quiet at night makes this cottage wonderfully peaceful. The big windows gave us a great view of a mother and baby deer outside. My family and I had an amazing time and miss it already. Will definitely stay again. ”
