"A good size room, but we asked for 2 beds - each one was 90 cm width. Quite narrow. Simplistic styling. Breakfast was quite poor - but still had all ingredients for a continental one. Definitely oriented for a business person with a tight budget"

Property condition and room excellent. Feels new and fresh! Car a necessity. Service team mediocre, many not speaking English at all. Staff frequently indifferent and somewhat impolite to guests including me, by both US and European standards. Perhaps no such interaction training. (I stayed 5 nights.)

Secure safe parking and very welcoming staff. The jacuzzi in our room worked perfectly. Less than a mile walk into the heart of Parma. Train station two easy streets away. Will definitely return.

Wow! What a little jewel this place turned out to be. Large, clean, beautiful, low-cost room.
First, this is a very different cost-effective hotel experience. There is no 'front desk', and no staff save for a couple of cleaning folks you may or may not see. You enter the main front door using a code on a keypad, and you don't have a room key - you get a numeric combination for the combo lock on your door. So you have to be sure to read the messages the hotel sends you on Expedia to get the...

Palazzo Della Rosa Prati is a charming, centuries old building located in the heart of the historic center of Parma. We had a two bedroom deluxe suite which was actually an apartment with a full kitchen and washing machine. The building is old, but the interior is modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing. They helped us with dinner reservations and even arranged a cooking class for us. I highly recommend this hotel.

A wonderful little hotel between Parma and Reggio Emilia. A lot of character, very nice rooms, and wonderful staff. Morena, in particular, was very helpful answering all of our questions and being patient with my mediocre Italian. Will definitely stay at Hotel Tricolore again when in the area.
