The stay was overshadowed by the lack of breakfast. We stayed overnight following a 60th birthday celebration. One of the thing we were looking forward to was the “Breakfast served daily until 10:30”. This is actually a not very interesting selection of help yourself breakfast cereals, yogurts, bread, day old croissants, hot water for tea or coffee. Certainly not the breakfast we were expecting and not a member of staff insight. If we were aware that this was The George’s idea of “Breakfast served daily until 10:30” we would have booked somewhere else.
