“Really friendly at check in and throughout. Free parking a bonus. Room was great for what we needed with good facilities. Loved the fact there was a bar downstairs - very convenient for a nightcap. “Fabulous location a short drive or park & ride bus from the city centre. Lovely setting and well maintained. Staff were friendly and happy to assist. Food was lovely, with a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms were well designed and spacious, with a lovely private courtyard. Loved being able to have my dog with me and she was even permitted in the bar and breakfast room (not in main area near breakfast bar, which was fine as I had company to watch her). “We were lucky enough to stay in the Langford suite. Wow it was as big as a air bb. Decor was 1st class bathroom had a 6ft double shower. Pub was great staff were lovely food to match. The staircase to the suite needs replacing also was surprised to see the entrance mat had a large stain on it. But we would still give you 10 out of 10. ”

"Hotel is quite new in comparison with other International brand hotels in that area. Comfortable bed, room nice and clean. Within walking distance to CBD and tourist area. However, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night around 1:30am and we learned the next day that it’s a fire drill. That’s totally ridiculous to me. I’ve travelled around the world in the past 50 yrs and never came across any hotel like this. The fire alarm woke all hotel guests without prior notice nor explanation on site. Guests including myself needed to run around to check out what’s happening. Hope they never ever do this again. We’re extremely tired after a whole day’s travelling and desperately needed a good night’s sleep. "
