“There was mould in multiple places on the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom did not have a fan, only an old window that was difficult to reach high up. There were no electrical outlets in the bedroom area. Only an old power bar screwed to the wall. The two USB ports in the power bar did not work. Someone had started to patch drywall and tape in places but it hadn’t been sanded/painted. There was no way to control the heat, the curtains didn’t shut all the way, but most of all the walls were paper……

“Good location, property in a descent condition, good rooms for a motel format, good staff. A note of caution for future guests, the main floor rooms are at a disadvantage, because of impact noise from the upper floor. Apparently, the floor acoustic insulation is not very good, so upper guests simply walking or moving a chair may be a nuisance for your night sleep. Had we known that, we would have asked for an upper floor room for sure.”
