“The carpets were terribly stained. The beds were uncomfortable. There is no elevator and we were on the third floor. It would’ve been helpful to know that beforehand as we were on a motorcycle trip and we’re carrying lots of bags up and down the stairs. There were only a couple of options for food in the evenings in the whole town. The microwave in the room was unplugged and the cord was not long enough from the cabinet where it was located to actually plug-in and use. The shower drained very……

“I stayed here 50 years ago, and not much has changed, which pleased me and my family. The property was very well maintained, and the original charm still existed. As we knew , no AC was available, but we had 2 box fans and cool nights. I was most impressed by the little gift basket and hand signed card by the staff on my birthday.”

“Don’t stay here - beautiful view of the mountains, easy check in but railroad is too close and runs almost every hour - so loud, close to the main road too, description said it had an air conditioner- it did not, some cleaning materials were left on the sink, and smaller than expected. Called about the air conditioner and WiFi password - did not respond as quickly as I would like (4 hours in 90+ degree weather), luckily it cools down at night.”

The cabin had two bedrooms, a kitchen with dining area, new decks on the front and back of the cabin, a spacious living room area where all of our family members could hang out and relax, a beautiful fenced yard with flowers, bathroom with a tub/shower combo which held the most thick comfortable and warm towels, and even a barbecue grill in the back yard.
