It’s always a pleasure to stay at Hampton Inn and Suites Astoria. The Astoria Riverwalk is directly behind the hotel. Pier 39 is a short walk down the wooden pier. The Hotel’s Full breakfast is being served once again from 6-10 AM.

Location, quiet

The property and our room was nice and clean. The hotel is right next to a Safeway so it made it easy to get anything we forgot to bring with us on our trip. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be staying there again anytime we pass through.

This property was exactly as it was described. It was located on the harbor on the Columbia River. There were several restaurants within the area. The view of the harbor was beautiful. The amenities were great. We had a suite with coffee , microwave, refrigerator and a seating area. The bed and bedding was super comfortable.

The view is spectacular! Pet friendly and you can walk your dog straight from the hotel down to the river walk. You have ro drive to shopping and dinning area.

This hotel is in an area away from restaurants/ shops that are within easy walking distance. The immediate area was safe but empty, ie the surrounding buildings were businesses that were not open in the evening/ weekends. That being said the hotel has friendly staff, even if they were using walkie talkies in the hallways before 0800 (the reason for 4 out of 5 stars). The amenities were well cared for and clean. The addition of clam chowder available in the evenings was nice. It was pretty tasty....

A date night to remember in a clean, quiet and close location for us. Recommend this place for adults looking for a mini-vacation for Longview & Kelso residents. Worth the money, close to our home but far enough away to feel like an out of town event.

Great option for staying in downtown Astoria; the location is excellent. The room we stayed in had some plaster coming off the wall next to the sink, but all else was in good shape.

This downtown hotel has been renovated, but the old style of the property remains with hardwood floors in the lobby. There is a nice sitting area in front of the fireplace on one side and a wine bar/breakfast area on the other. We were in room 302, a corner room at the top of the stairs. Knowing that this hotel is in a building from the 1940s, I believe, and that the room I booked didn't have it's own bathroom, and also seeing that it's prices are some of the lowest in town, I didn't have my expectations too high. Loved Everything! Only thing that could be approved upon is the terribly hard beds; They were very uncomfortable. Otherwise the motel was wonderful!
