We spent a fabulous week at Windrush in Stratton. Emma and Scott are great hosts and we’re on hand if any questions.
The property itself was so inviting, spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a family stay.
Stratton itself is a gorgeous little village with a great little grocery shop, a butchers and a couple of pubs.
It’s about a 5 minute drive into Bude, a lovely town with a number of different shops, cafes, and a gorgeous beach where we spent most of our time.
We made use of Scott’s kind discount for surf lessons which we thouroughly enjoyed!
It was a great location which we did do some travelling from.
We visited Port Isaac, Polzeath, Boscastle, Tintagel Castle. All approximately 40 minutes away.
We did also take a trip to Lizard Point, a 2 hour drive, absolutely worth it and stopped at Fistral Beach, Newquay on our way back.
We all loved our week in Cornwall and waking up in and coming back to “Windrush” at the end of our day.
Thanks Emma and Scott.
