How can I get cheap hotels in Buffalo?

Best tips to find a cheap hotel in Buffalo

  1. If you're looking to travel to Buffalo on a budget, you'll be happy to know that you can find hotels for as low as $80. Of course, that price is affected by amenities, star rating, and even the time of year you visit. At most, hotel prices can be as high as $163. Staying a short amount of time in Buffalo is an effective way to reduce hotel costs.
  2. When you cut your vacation down to just a few days, you don't have to worry as much about hotel prices since you don't have that many nights to stay. For budget hotels in Buffalo, 3 to 4 days should be all the nights you need. That's generally enough to enjoy the city's top attractions, though there's certainly enough to do to warrant a week-long trip.
  3. When booking cheap hotel rooms in Buffalo, it's typically best to book about 3 weeks in advance. Book further in advance than that and you could be paying too much for your room, as hotels will often overestimate future demand. However, if you wait too long, you might find that the hotel has been completely booked.
  4. When you utilize search filters on Expedia, you'll be able to narrow down your results in a flash. These search filters cover a wide variety of factors you may be interested in when it comes to finding a cheap hotel in Buffalo, including amenities such as Free Breakfast, 2-star rating, or proximity to local attractions. You can even set filters for price limits to ensure that all the displayed results are within your budget.

"Took my daughters here for a little staycation before school started and it didn't disappoint. They loved the poolside room with the tropical trees and palm springs via 1950 vibe. The pool and breakfast potatoes were the stars of the show though. They kept saying I out did myself, but it was all the Oasis!"

Best Western Route 66 Rail Haven

Best Western Route 66 Rail Haven

8/10 Good
"Let me start with we would recommend & Stay again. By that being said… We stayed in the family suite. Room is small but worked! Has a desk, table with 2 chairs and a TV in the main area with a king size bed and a tv in the kids bunk room ( has a door and its own AC/Heat) the twin over full size bunks were perfect. The mattress on the full bottom bunk is like a RV cushion ( has a split down the middle, so not a real mattress) again it was perfect for us but I wanted to put that in there in case it doesn’t work for everyone. Bathroom was outdated but clean * Enough* to bath and use. The toilet is VERY small, my child said “put in the review that the toilet is so small my butt covers the entire seat!” Again worked just fine for us but wanted to add that in case it doesn’t work for another family. The walls by the king bed could have used a scrubbing in room 204. Definitely had dirty feet marks all over the walls. I wiped the table down before eating pizza and the baby wipe was still white which was great! Felt really safe in the area, loved seeing all the old cars, we even took a family photo under the Route 66 sign. We skipped out on breakfast just because we woke up late and the eating area was too small for my family with others already eating. We did peak at the breakfast area and looked clean, had lots of options but my family and I was headed to Bucces anyways we got breakfast there. They allow pets ( we had a dog). The hotel is “outside entrance” not in a building 👍"
