“The room has potential. Much about the room was fine. Here are the issues that we experienced: road noise, tobacco smoke rising from the restaurant, inadequate interior lighting, no hooks for towels, too few hooks for clothes, the sheets were not clearly clean. If you stay here, request a room on the back, away from the road and restaurant. The place has potential, but the little details matter. ”

“The room is very neat and comfortable. The wooden structure of the room looks great and is very comfortable. It is cheap, but with private bathroom, toilet and free breakfast! The bathroom is a little bit stuck, but still okay for just 1-2 nights. But remember to ask for hair dryer in the reception if you need one. Around 20 mins walk to the church, and the trail is along the lake, really beautiful. The breakfast is simple, with ham, cheese, jam, bread and drinks. Worth for this price!!!”

“They provided an infant bed that was spacious enough for our 2-year-old, which was very helpful. The view from our room overlooking the lake and mountains was absolutely stunning. There was also a sauna in the basement, although it wasn’t mentioned at check-in. Breakfast was served as a buffet with a great selection of ham, cheese, and fresh fruit, even though there were only two groups staying. Coffee and fried eggs were prepared upon request. “We stayed in the Home Away From Home for 2 nights as a couple. Communication with the landlord before our arrival was perfect, although the lady who was expecting us onsite to give us the key sopke almost no English. The place is exactly as shown on pictures, absolutely clean, kitched well equipped for basic meal preparation. The house is in a quiet area and have a nice balcony to relax and have meals there. I can highly recommend the place.”

“Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer.”

“Where to start. I came for 1 day and i stayed for 4. Really enjoyed my stay! The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Thank you Jana and Leon for helping me plan, making my life easier by checking early, storing my backpack while i was hiking in the mountains and for the chats. The hostel is very clean, beds very comfortable, lovely working kitchen that opens up to the dining area where you can hang out with other travelers. Perfectly situated right next to the bus stop and with most shops……
