I wasnt expecting much with this being a small town. But after checking in. Seeing the cleannes of the room. Surprised me. I mean i loved the room. The staff greeted you with a smile. Very helpful. I actually felt welcomed. There arent any soda machines (but a McDonald's next door) as i wanted a soda. I went to office ad the woman there offered and gave me 2 sodas of her own. I highly recommend this motel. It was a rather old motel but had been somewhat updated. Not enough outlets for electronic devices and furniture was a bit tattered. No real complaints. If you are not needing to get over to the Illinois side you are fine, but the bridge is a toll bridge and we were late to get to our destination more than once to wait for barges to get through.
