Decent
Overall it was a decent stay. The cabin was very very clean. The fireplace was nice, with plenty of firewood, and it had a pretty comfy living space. The loft was nice, though I personally felt a little bit uncomfortable with how easily people or neighbors could see right into the upstairs at night from outside by looking through the loft windows. Everything worked well, though the oven smoked up terribly when preheating it, to the point of setting off the smoke detector. I made sure the manager was made aware though, so I’m sure that will be taken care of. You also may want to request to the owner ahead of time for the hot tub to be set to a warm temperature before you arrive. It was at 74° when we arrived and it took the entire evening/night to heat up to 102°, so that was a big bummer to not be able to use it for the first night of our stay, especially considering we only booked for two nights. I tried to contact the manager soon after we arrived to make sure there were no issues with it because of how long it was taking to heat up, but didn’t hear back until the following day. But once it got up to temperature, it maintained well and was great! The beds also felt saggy and lumpy, so it may be time for some new mattresses. But the furniture itself was nice. The property was very peaceful and pretty. Really kind and friendly neighbors. Beautiful stream just a short walk away where we saw some small trout. Horses nearby. Super close to Ingles grocery store. Pretty cabin.

Quiet Location
During our stay at the property, we enjoyed linville falls and caverns and spent a large amount of time at the property resting in front of the wood fire. It was a very quiet and private property, a good experience to rest for a weekend and we look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful & Peaceful Getaway!
We absolutely loved our weekend away at Primose! Cabin was super clean & as cozy as could be. We grabbed food/wine on the way in at Ingles & I didn’t leave the cabin ONCE all weekend (except to walk down and check out the GORGEOUS river/pavilion at the bottom of the road.) We absolutely loved the wood burning fireplace & kept it going all weekend. Super cozy recliners in living room to curl up on & watch it burn. A 7 point deer came right up beside the driveway while we were in hot tub. Was also nice to have washer/dryer & the dryer came in handy for drying swimsuits after enjoying the hot tub. We slept in the loft upstairs & the sheets were like butter & we had a beautiful view upon waking up. I spent quite a bit of time reading on the porch swing with the sounds of the river below. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet getaway to the mountains, you won’t regret your time here.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
This is a well-appointed cabin located in a beautiful mountain setting. We enjoyed hikes along the river and made use of the jacuzzi on the deck. The kitchen is well-equipped for eating in -- and Burnsville is just a short drive for dining out/take-out. The cabin has a cozy fireplace and a supply of wood that was also a big plus for our family. Hope to return again!

Much Needed Escape
This cabin is everything my wife and I were looking for to get away for a few days. It was a GORGEOUS location with a clean, cozy cabin. With only being 15 minutes away from the great little town of Burnsville we couldn't have asked for more.
