This lakefront cabin is located in Pocono Mt Lake Estates. The home is beautifully furnished and fully equipped for comfortable vacation living. Lake views from the kitchen, living room and loft. Secluded among maple, pine and birch trees. The chalet has three bedrooms; two downstairs with one bath downstairs and one upstairs in loft area with full bath upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, TV and stereo. Downstairs both bedrooms have double beds. There is a large front deck overlooking Eagle Lake.

Writing Retreat

We loved our stay at Lake Haven. If anything the photos don't do justice to how quiet and beautiful the place is. Foliage, peaceful lake - often roaming deer - just outside the windows. Lots of walking trails short drives away. And a great place to settle in for both work and rest. Well equipped kitchen. Light filled house.

Beautiful chalet in a gorgeous location!!

We just spent an amazing long weekend with our three kids and dog at the chalet. The property was very spacious, clean, and well decorated, and it’s right on the edge of the lake. It feels peaceful and secluded without being remote or isolated. We had a great time relaxing on the deck watching our kids playing in the autumn leaves! We’d definitely stay there again!

Fall get away

My family and I plus my dog took a long weekend away to enjoy the fall weather. This house is amazing in the morning to enjoy your coffee on the outside deck or lake side deck. The 2 downstairs beds are very soft to the point you sink in. That’s the only area of improvement. 10 minutes from Bushkill falls- great place to go and relax.

Absolutely Beautiful!

Our view of the lake. with the fall foliage all around, was stunning. The huge window was amazing. There were deer right in the back yard each day. The house was very clean and comfortable. We visited Bushkill Falls during our stay and we loved it! We highly recommend staying here. Patrick was very responsive.

Quiet Weekend Retreat

I took my wife, five kids, & two dogs to this cabin on Pocono Mountain Lake. It was a beautiful location and a great cabin. We had everything we needed as we spent the first day of spring there. The cabin was clean, warm, and well stocked with kitchen cookware. I would definitely stay here again. We also enjoyed some of the hikes at the Pocono Environmental Education Center. Just a 10 minute drive from the cabin.

The place is pretty and located in a quiet neighborhood. However, the indoor space is much smaller than I expected. The sofa bed is placed right next to another bed, so be prepared—it's not like sofa bed in a living room where everyone can have their own privacy. Also, the mattress is definitely on the soft side—too soft, in fact. I sank into it and couldn't sleep well all night. The TV is from last century I think. Considering the price, I feel there may be better options available.

Winter Getaway

We spent just a few short days at the property in early January, but it lived up to all of our expectations. My girlfriend and I were looking for a quiet place to relax along with our dogs after the holidays, and this home was exactly what we were looking for. It was easy to access, clean, and very comfortable. We were able to take walks around by the lake and spend evenings by the fireplace. The owner was very polite and easy to correspond with. Should we ever venture back to the Bushkill area, we will stay here again.

Easy Adventure with doggo

Our experience was Fantastic.. Cabin was just as charming as advertised. Owner was extremely responsive. We enjoyed the very gregarious deer all through the neighborhood! We did have a sighting (Not near the property) of a large black bear that the owner made a point of making sure we knew about way ahead of time. With the AllTrails app on our phones we found many gorgeous waterfall hikes nearby that didn’t have access fees which our dog really appreciated. Fun wineries in East Stroudsburg (we left our complimentary wine glasses in the house). Needed to save kayaking on the Delaware River for the follow-up trip though hubby did catch several perch in the lake on property though not the big fish he saw from the boat. Only watch out would be the steepness of the stairs to the loft bedroom. The morning lake view is lovely from up there but there are 2 nice bedrooms & a bathroom on the ground floor if you have mobility issues.

Nice location and setup very relaxing and plenty of deer . Very quiet but the a/c wasn’t up to the ninety plus temperatures that were around. Was only one day, but would have been nicer if it wasn’t last minute and we stayed longer. Outside of the a/c we had a nice time

Really a beautiful lake house that needs some love.When we arrived we were pleasantly happy.As we went to the lake ( backyard) we noticed that the outdoor seating was a bit old and dirty.Also to get out the canoe onto the lake had tree branches and kind of complicated for us to go out.Other then these issues we loved the lake house.

Our family had a very nice stay at Lake Haven. We saw deer every single day, plus squirrels, birds, raccoons, mink, and turtles. We loved sitting on the lakeside "deck" (it's not quite a dock as it does not extend over the water like most docks do). The house is nicely appointed and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, glassware, etc. The downstairs beds seemed to roll around, but I suppose our older kids may toss & turn in their sleep. My husband and I slept in the loft bedroom. The bed in the loft was really awful, and we kept rolling towards the middle and towards each other. Our backs were sore every morning, but we're used to our sleep number bed at home, so that's probably why we found the bed to be so uncomfortable. Other folks might find the bed to be fine. Otherwise, we had a lovely week at this rental and would consider coming back in the future.

Peaceful and Relaxing

We had a fabulous time at the Lake Haven chalet! I went with my sisters and cousins for a nostalgic trip to Bushkill Falls. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed time at the fire pit by the lake. The owner was very responsive. I would highly recommend this place!

We totally enjoyed our 5 days at Lake Haven- Great get-away , comfortable, accommodations .

The house is very open and spacious. The kitchen and bathrooms were very new and clean. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioning is all new and are split type state of the art type. We spent several hours a day at the dock at the beautiful lake. I would play my acoustic guitar and Theresa would read her book. Several days I took the canoe out on the the lake. Reminded me of my Boy Scout days years ago. The kitchen has new appliances including a dish washer. There is a TV on the main floor and a smaller one in the loft bedroom . Each day we would take a walk on the roadways around the community. It is a very quiet, tranquil place. We went to Bushkill Falls and did the hike. There are restaurants nearby. A particular interesting place was the Tom X Pub off of rt 209 just 15 minutes from the house. The high ceiling in the main room gives a good open feeling to just being there... You see the trees and lake out the wall of windows. I recommend this property if your looking for a quiet, calm , get-away in the woods at the lake. Take a look at the photos on the vrbo.
