“We were very much made to feel welcome with a cup of tea and home made scones to begin with. The bedroom had a lovely view of the lake and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also excellent with a lovely traditional fry and homemade banana bread on offer. The owner was friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this B& B”

“Had a lovely stay with my husband. Staff were superb. Concierge picked up from our lodge and drove us to the restaurant since it was raining. Had a lovely meal in the Lakeside Grill. Breakfast was fantastic.
Stayed in a lake view lodge suite. Very spacious. Some areas looked a little tired and could do with a refresh in the lodge. ”

“It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!”

“First visit and will definitely return. Staff are really friendly, room was spacious and spotless. Proximity to all amenities was perfect. Food was excellent and portions were great.
