"Very spacious and comfortable home!! The pictures do not do this location justice...very beautiful property with easy access to the river! Check out the trout fishing regulations and be sure to bring your own equipment, this house sits right in front of a popular trout fishing location. One of our favorite activities was sitting on the back patio facing the river and watching the eagles in the morning doing a little fishing of their own! "

"Cozy cabin located in the woods. Beautiful scenery. Very clean. We loved sitting out by the fire at night and the older children enjoyed walking down to the river to fish. The river access point does not seem to be a spot for young ones to be as it’s a little steep and it wouldn’t be hard to slip right into the river. I myself almost felt like I was going in at one incident because I lost my footing. Bring your own easy to make meals as the cabin doesn’t have an actual stove/oven and is a little crammed, not a big deal but is good to know. Overall wonderful and beautiful trip, we would stay there again. I hope this helps. "

"The cabin is perfect, the pool was closed for the season but looks really inviting. The views from the deck are amazing, we watched the deer across the river and the eagles hunting the river. Added bonus this trip the northern lights gave us an awesome show. "

"Everything was wonderful! Plenty of room, very clean, and so close to the beautiful Little Missouri River. Scott and Colleen were always available if I had a question. We are already planning on going back again next year!"

"Very clean and comfortable cabin. Conveniently located. Had everything we needed including mining equipment. Loved seeing all the deer every day. We didn’t realize the entrance for upstairs was outside, but it was fine with our older kids. We did like there was a “trap door”, so we could conveniently communicate between upstairs and downstairs. "

"House was beautiful and spacious, we booked this for family coming from michigan to stay for our wedding. They loved the experience and river front. They complained about some of the ceiling fans having sound/mechainical issues and a tub that would not drain well. But said everything else was good. I only got a quick peak of the house, but my favorite thing was the beautiful kitchen!"

"River Wood Inn is an outstanding hotel! Rooms are spotless, beds are super comfortable, and the view is beautiful. Staff are very kind and helpful, especially the elder man. Location is peaceful. Loved my stay here. Highly recommended!"
