The hotel owner promised—via Expedia—that I would get the reserved room the next day. That promise was broken. The room was still “not available,” with no explanation. Because it was late at night, the hotel is far from the city, and I was traveling with my daughter, I had no choice but to stay. The room itself had multiple issues. The shower was only partially repaired and still did not work properly, and the bathroom hand shower was never fixed at all, despite repeated complaints. This hotel does not honor confirmed reservations, makes false promises, and fails to maintain basic standards. Advertising a pyramid view and then refusing to provide it is misleading. The night i arrived was a very clear night and my balcony had the best view. They assigned me a person driver to pick me up from the airport and a tour guide, I asked about food on the way from the airport to the hotel and they held the kitchen open for me to arrive. All staff were very kind and protective of me, as I traveled to Cairo alone. My driver escorted me on all my excursions, he protected me from scammers and so did my guide.
