Without a car there are no shops close. With two other couples in the basement--using the shower or washroom was a nightmare. It seemed to be occupied constantly. I have a minor disability and stairs are a major task for me. The entrance is through the garage, Up three stairs, then you are request to remove your shoes. A fair request, but there is no room to have a seat to do so. Sitting on the stairs to take shoes off and put them on is a pain. The shower is well stocked with shampoos and conditioners, but the property could use more and better towels. All in all? A nice family however I won't be returning. And BTW--a 4% surcharge on credit cards. Effectively a discount for cash. It just feels a bit shady.

Upon entering the garage there was a strong mildew smell. The rooms are located in the basement which had a very strong fragrance smell which made our eyes burn. The room had no window or smoke detector. The floors and bathroom were very clean, so we showered and checked out one and a half hours after we checked it. The poor air quality and lack of fire safety measures was astonishing. I also canceled a future booking without refund. There was also a lot of noise transfer from the upstairs but could have been put up with if it wasn’t so unsafe to stay.
