Vacation to Calgary

The rooms are beautiful and the staff very helpful. We didn't use the pool or hot tubs.

Overall had a pleasant stay here. It was a short walk to downtown and the room was decent. The VIP perk of two complimentary drinks that were limited to just a select few beverages was a little disappointing.

When we checked in it was easy and fast and I liked that we got to check in early. We checked out our room and noticed right away that the tile floors were filthy along with the carpets. We carried on unpacking and tried to hang clothes up but there were only 6 hangers. The kitchen had everything we needed except oven mitts. I pulled out a dinner plate and it had jam and hair on it. There were no screens on the windows so we couldn’t get a nice breeze in the suite unless we left the balcony door open, which we did because there were absolutely no bugs- so a plus. ( There’s a portable window a/c in the bedroom) The bed was comfortable. The bathroom tile surround had splashes of shampoo residue and the tile floor was dirty also. There was a patio set on balcony but the umbrella sat in the corner broken. We could have used it in the afternoon/evening when the sun was facing us but I let the front desk know and they said they don’t carry extra umbrellas because the suites are privately owned. The toilet paper was AWFUL. Overall these rooms are set up nicely but it would be great to have them cleaned more thoroughly in between guests. We enjoyed our stay and the view of the trees and mountains.

With nice staff, clean room, and easy parking, the stay was a pleasure.

We absolutely loved our stay. Should have done more than one night. It was so incredibly peaceful out by the creek in the morning, you could feel your blood pressure dropping. And the staff was so helpful and kind. We saw a grizzly mama and her cub about a 1/2 mile from the cabins on our way in which was so lucky and amazing. It was easy access to lake Louise and we used the ten peaks shuttle service to go to moraine lake the next day. Can’t wait to come back some day!!
