"They cancelled my stay abruptly 2 days prior to my arrival. I emailed them and never heard anything back. Called them and was placed on hold for an hour. I’m sure they double booked but it was really unfortunate to have to deal with the consequences of their mistake."

"Spacious home for our group of 10 to stay for our trip to the Ford plant, museum, and Greenfield Village. Upon arrival Derrick met us to show us the house. Lots of amenities and comfortable beds. Everything was clean and well kept on the inside. Plenty of parking space in the back. Heads up on the neighborhood, maybe get your groceries before you go. We were there on a Wednesday and Thursday night. All was quiet and street was patrolled. "

"It was nasty smelled like urine only had 2 air conditioners out of 5 bedrooms. Water leaking under the kitchen sink we had to put a pot plus my husband tried to fix it. Bathroom room was not clean plus water leaking threw the ceiling from the bathroom into the kitchen while I was cooking for my family "

"Easy to get to the house, many houses on the street were in differing stages of renovation, very quiet neighborhood, we were 10 minutes by car from downtown Detroit. House is well furnished and equipped. Bedrooms are very roomy. Would have liked to open a bedroom window at night, but could not, they may be painted shut. No bathroom on the main level, so you have to go upstairs or downstairs. The stairs going to the 2nd floor, have a hand rail going just half way up. Really need a railing going all the way up. Overall we were happy with the accomodations. "

"The place was really charming and just right for our stay. The property management Co and host made the check-in process very easy and convenient. The neighborhood was rich is history and the home itself is part of its story. The beautiful Italian style Catholic school really made everything so beautiful and it was fascinating learning how the rental property once belonged to the sisters of the parish. Cons: the bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan and the window did not appear operational. We didn’t want to try too hard to open it because they were original to the home (100 years old). Second, the window blinds in bedroom 1 don’t block any light and at 6:15 every morning the whole room was bright as day. I definitely recommend a sleep mask if light wakes you up. "

"The host double booked the property on another platform. And then tried to trick us to cancel the reservation so we wouldn’t get a refund. We called Vrbo who gave us a refund and a little bit of extra money, but it wasn’t enough to cover a new stay on the holiday weekend. This home should be removed from the Vrbo platform."

"I had 6-Teens with me during this stay. All females. Not enough towels and washcloths but the host advised us to go to a laundromat if we needed to do laundry. The exterior was not immaculate and the wheelchair ramp was unsafe Electrical repairs need to be inspected and repaired. This home is definitely fire hazard safe. "Gave it a perfect ranking because we loved it, nothing in notes would stop us from staying there again. We hope the details help future renters.Kitchen is WELL stocked with plates & pans. Fewer forks/spoons but still 8ish. Most utensils, no cheese grater, no zip locks. Working dishwasher and microwave, fridge was about 3/4 size but enough for 6 people over a week. Coop grocery 2 socks away, cute and awesome.. Some restaurants but more near Wayne State U about a mile south. Wifi only worked for 1 in our party, perhaps router needs reset. 4 smart TVs. Sign in with your own accounts. The main dining table is awesome and living room sectional could seat 10.House is old but renovated. You can hear Street noise in front bedrooms, which was quiet most nights except a huge late Sat night party. The block has some empty lots and several renovated homes but a few that need work. Street parking is easy but we learned to enter from East to park on the house side. The house has a security system and we felt safe but set it off on arrival because we didn't disarm within 60 seconds. The backyard isn't set up for anything and the basement is off limits. 1st floor has BA and kitchen, dining room and living room. The downstairs BA light isn't a normal switch but is part of the inside outlet. 2nd floor has 4 BR, 1 BA. That BA has a small shower. 3rd floor has a bedroom with no door but extra beds. All showers have top down shower heads and a handheld."
