The owner was unaware of my booking. The room was tired- carpet hand fitted around the wash hand basin, which was in the bedroom and not in the shower room. A tiny shower and w.c with a sliding door.Old fashioned wardrobe and a tiny tv. Everything was very, very clean. The breakfast was excellent as was the service. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Service was excellent too. Staff were able to accommodate our dietary requirements without any issues. The room was quite cold. There were two radiators, one wasn’t too warm at full, and the other wasn’t working. Other than that, our stay was perfect. Lovely hotel and friendly owners. Felt very COVID safe. The breakfast was delicious - best breakfast we have in a hotel for a long time. The only downside was that the bathroom was very small and the sink was in the room and external to the bathroom. Our room faced the side and was quite quiet.
