Calvos Pousadas

We very much enjoyed our one night stay. Clean bedroom and bath. The building is of historic design. The exterior and interior walls are of large granite blocks. The hotel is located in the country site, it is quiet and has a very helpful and accommodating staff. We would like to go back for a longer stay.

Beautiful old monetary turned hotel. A must say

This hotel is incredibly great! We loved staying here. The facilities, staff, room and the service is incredible. Only thing we think could improve is the massage services can always be better, and have more diverse offerings with varied therapist that are more confident. The other thing was that the room service was always great but even tho there was moments we didn’t want anybody in the room they still came in to clean up… Overall it was amazing!!!

Fun decor and art. Nice room. Had everything we needed. Bar area. Location central to everything. Parking cost extra but very nearby.

Hotel was perfect - clean and comfortable; easy parking; walkable, safe location; friendly and professional staff. Many amenities but we did take advantage of them.

Carlos was very helpful& gave us great restaurant recommendations& sights to see. The two rooms were great. Spotlessly Clean& we had room 1 ( the best) great new bathroom& beautiful ceilings. Room 2 had beautiful ceilings & much smaller bathroom so if your very tall ( my son 6 feet 7 inches) get bedroom 1 . Great beds & sheets. Breakfast wonderful. Beautiful gardens& a beautiful restored villa Location ideal& price is great. Guimares is a beautiful town & one of our favorite on our Portuguese...

Choose this place If you like peaceful stroll in the garden after your restful sleep. Exceptional staff, especially Sarah 👏. It is close to Sanctuary of Penha and sorrounded by nature.

Todo ha sido perfecto de principio a fin. Diría que supero mis expectativas. Volveré el próximo año.

A gem of a property, tranquil and relaxing. Super family friendly, peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

Such a cute hotel, perfect for kids! And in the best area. Loved it!

We stayed in this place for 4 nights and had an experience of a lifetime. Staff were just absolutely respectful, professional and accommodating of our needs anytime. The food is like an other hotel where selections are limited. However, we would still rate their food with 4 stars. They have a complete facility of pool indoor and outdoor, spa, and gym with a big wine cellar and a scenic landscape wherever you look. This place is to return to if you wish to retreat the elegant way in the heart of...
