If a traveler is one who can appreciate wonderful history of a given area within any town, who marvels at the architecture of the early 1900's, who respects the work to refurbish and maintain a nearly 100 year old home, is charmed by the landscape and relishes calm, civility and old luxury........this is the place to stay. Sans a few quirks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt transported back to the roaring '20's. The only think they we would have liked to have enjoyed, was a breakfast vs a continental menu. We met one of the owners and he was gracious with his time and key historical notes regarding the house and previous owners.

The hotel was not bad. The lady that works the front desk overnight is beyond amazing! She is the only reason why I have the stars I did.

The room was huge and we loved the bathtub! The pool was our favorite part and the fact that room service delivered drinks….awesome!

Our floors, toilet and sink were not clean. Linens were clean and a sufficient amount were provided. The property smelled of Marijuana throughout. Our room had an unusual odor as well. The pool looked nice, we just weren't there long enough to use it.
