The overall comfort of our suite, size as well as location, is hands down better than any other hotels we have stayed with over the years. That would include any of the Fairmont properties. It has lovely charm and the staff is always so very pleasant. The fireplace was also warm and inviting and the bed very cozy. Within walking distance to everything you could possibly want to enjoy in Canmore. The in house Pub food is excellent! From huge portioned breakfasts done your way to awesome soups and lunch fare to all the traditional English pub delights one of which was a beer battered fish and chips to die for!!! The manager and staff go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. Conveniently located and within walking distance of many local features! We will stay here on our next trip enjoying the warm atmosphere! PS for anyone with sensitivities to chemical cleaning linens you won’t find that here. The food is good in the pub. Wait staff at dinner were very good. Breakfast staff not so much. Not very attentive. We love the ambience, the menu and the staff. It’s always quiet and clean. My spouse has dietary requests that can be met at the Georgetown or within a few minutes walk.
