Breakfast was included in our rate at the adjacent pub and it was fab - all cooked to order plus a continental buffet, and some choices too (full english, sandwiches, avocado and poached egg on toast etc). Hotel was nice a quiet, plenty of free parking. Beds were just a little bit too hard for us but we had busy days out so we slept well anyway. Cooked Breakfast was included in our booking and was really nice and could also choose from the continental options that was available as well. Although dinner wasn’t included we ate in the restaurant on the first night and although I was a little fussy with what I could eat the chef was very accommodating. The arrival wasn't at all customer friendly & I think it was management, I have worked in the hospitality sector as DM for many years and never gave such a brusque welcome!! The bar maid wasn't much better when we used the restaurant (they must of been having a bad day) I have to say myself & another friend had steak for 2 nights as it was cooked to perfection, well done the chefs. Also the second night my Husband & friend fancied the carvary, after a long day competing at a table tennis tournament we didn't arrive back until just before 8pm but again the chef kept the carvary out for them.
