The room was warm and comfortable and spotless. The view was spectacular (we even saw a Toucan fly by!). We would highly recommend this beautiful home away from home and definitely give it 5 stars!"

"We stayed here for a few nights while visiting the Poas Volcano and area waterfalls. Our stay here was WONDERFUL! The place is clean, updated and has such a beautiful view. The host had great communication. We booked the place specifically for the hot tub and it did not disappoint, such a relaxing way to end the day after lots of hiking. 10/10 recommend!!"

"The cottage is one of 3 rental units plus the owner’s house near the top of Vista Atenas, about a 7 min drive from Atenas. You will need a car but probably not a 4x4. The cottage DOES NOT have pool access which we learned only when we arrived - only 2 units do. This was a big blow for us. (Owners claim it’s the website’s fault on the listing).
