“Aillem was very welcoming, very knowledge about the area, and gave us suggestions on where locals shop. She also helped us order our first pizza dinner that was delivered. It was delicious! “This is a great spot to check out Lake Arenal if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. There's delicious food and drinks within 2-3 km from the house, and you're only a 25 minute drive to La Fortuna. Owner was super responsive with questions I had. I would definitely return.”

“The property is beautiful! Our stay was perfect! We heard howler monkeys and saw macaw flying overhead. The beach that's a short walk away is breathtaking and pretty private. “We loved the little Casa, it had everything our family needed. It was close to town and the beaches nearby are so beautiful. The pictures of the view don’t even do it justice- it is breathtaking. “We got to the property, in the dark, many hours later than we expected and were greeted by two wonderful hosts! Guida and John were exceptionally kind, more than willing to share their suggestions of places to visit and making us feel immediately at home and welcome! The studio was perfect for us. "We’ve payed around 5000 dollars to enjoy 3 days and 2 nights, considering that we were star class, the check-in process was fine, they explained us our benefits, etc… During this period of time, the food was awful. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner is this So Cal Buffet, and the quality of the food was horrible. The food was cold, cheap, disgusting and even hard to even look at or swallow. The people next to the table even called the food ‘’ass’’. And I totally agree. The lunch menu was fine, totally what one could expect but still it was horrible. The dinner menu was very delectable, especially the traditional Costa Rican menu, the soup was delicious and it was a great meal. But don’t get me started on the staff at the buffet, the receptionist was really friendly, the waitresses too, they did their duties greatly. Some of the cooks had a bad attitude, they were dry, rude, serious. We were trying to reserve the sushi restaurant for a whole entire day, we tried to contact staff to help us reserve but they always told us that we needed to talk with the woman there. Still she was never there, we arrive there when she was supposed to be there and she still wasn’t there. When we arrived to the sushi restaurant, the food was salty and very hard to swallow. The customer service was awful in some parts of the hotel, some were nice but some weren’t even welcoming. This all-inclusive hotel isn’t worth coming from, we would never come back here ever again!"
