It was a nice place for families and really anyone. The pool wasn't open yet when we stayed. I wondered if it would get very crowded. The food was decent at the bar/beach pit area. NICE PLACE!

Loved our stay at the Beach Shack! Great location with a view of the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Friendly staff and a clean and comfortable room.
Conveniently located, and clean. However housekeeping never got to our 2nd floor end room by 4 pm. They nicely gave us more towels , etc. and we asked them to pass us by while we showered.
We found 10:00 am too early for the loud party music broadcasted by the pool (which the rooms surround) … it does play all day.
Considering that the pool was not yet open for the season - it was a bit much.
My sister & I had a great 5 days at the Beach shack. Everyone was very friendly & kind! Rooms were spacious & clean . We had room service daily & she did an excellent job. The only bad thing was the stairs we were on the 3rd floor & it was hard to take luggage up & down. The pool does need repair but overall a wonderful stay

Six year staying at the Beach Shack, Bunk Shacks which we love! The service at the Rusty Nail was horrible. Ordered lunch for our three small kids and myself and wife for poolside and it took over 50 minutes and everything tasted horrible. After I waited about 20 minutes another patron went to place their order and was told of the approximate 45 minute wait, and left. I wish I was told upfront of the wait so I could’ve just went to Oceanview instead, but was too far into the wait. When I placed my order which I had on my phone (2 kids pizzas, a chicken caesar salad, and chicken tacos, not a super complicated order) the bartender just took my phone out of my hand without asking and imputed the order. Never mentioned the wait, handed the phone back and walked to her coworkers to talk about getting wasted last night. The kids pizzas weren’t even close to being cooked and we’re thrown away. Stay away from the Rusty Nail!
