“The staff and owner were really great! We stayed for 2 nights and they helped us with getting kayaking ready. There are two issues we had, one was we didn’t realize how cold it gets at night (even in July). We stayed in an older plastic dome so it felt more like a tent. Make sure you bring winter PJs/extra layers. The other matter was outside of our control. The shower area drained towards the toilet so everything was wet after a shower. Aside from these two things everything else was amazing.……

“Great little motel. It's a bit dated,but clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was excellent. Allowed us to buy some beer from the restaurant for our room. We had arrived without any because the local store closed before we were able to get there. Breakfast was excellent. I definitely would recommend the Mountain View if you are looking for a reasonable priced stay and don't need something fancy. Great for the motorcycle crowd.”

“The people and the view are unbeatable! Breakfast was scrumptious and the dining room/deck are excellent venues. The rooms were fine - comfortable enough beds, good shower. Soaps, shampoos of low quality. No iron. It's about 10 minutes from the restaurants, etc, which is also acceptable. It's a shame the restaurant is no longer operating except for breakfast. We are sure it must have been amazing.”

“Gorgeous location with private beach. Highly recommend. However, disappointed the hot tub not working when we were there (likely another guest shut it off accidentally they said). One other small quibble: we were strangely given only three plates, three bowls. For the price point, I think they need not be so stingy on the dishes. Having said that, nicely maintained, gorgeous location.”
