"Great modern apartment in safe area. Stayed 3 days, during moving in we noticed that tv remote is missing, we contacted the management right away, and they replay that someone will get back to us. No update or remote was received within 3 days of our stay, very disappointed. Other than that apartment is great."

"Wonderful experience! This is my second time staying at one of Alfred's properties. The units are well equipped. Beds are very comfortable. Communication with owner/manager is excellent and very responsive. The location could not be better. Close to fancy restaurants as well as casual places. Reykjavik's best coffee and bakeries are within two blocks. Shopping at Bonus and Kronan are also super convenient. The only area for improvement is that black out curtains/shades could be more effective. "

Had to walk up steep steps with luggage. A bit noisy at night, due to being on a main street. A little hard to locate- signage could be better. "

"Wow! What an incredible place to stay for our first visit to Iceland! I will absolutely stay here again! It is in the most perfect location…walkable to everything! The decor is clean and modern, yet perfectly cozy for when you come back from a cold hike and want to relax. The beds were comfortable with crisp, clean sheets. "Very nice room, and very clean. We had an issue with getting an extra towel, and with getting a late checkout. Also, hard to find parking. However, other than that, it was an excellent room, right downtown in the heart of the action. And, emails were promptly responded to within a few minutes. "Efficient check in with door codes thru email, was able to store small suitcases before check in. Nice neighbourhood- we slept very well, not too noisy but easy access to city centre by foot or scooter. Very comfortable beds and apt has great layout. You could fit a family in nicely. Would stay there again. Full kitchen to prepare meals and snacks"

"Lets start with the bad, the bad is we stayed at 401 and there is no elevator so I had to carry our luggage all the way up to 4th floor. When we got to the room, took a shower and drain clogged right away which means they did not clean the drain down below properly. They were very attentive and very good at communicating so they took care and sent someone right away but unfortunately we could not let them in because we were so tired from our flight.
