This was a cute, fun property to stay at. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our large group of 8. It was nice to stay a little out of Reykjavík and the crowds, but an easy 20 minute bus ride to town.

They checked us into the worst room in the hotel, overlooking an active construction site which was noisy from the early morning. The shower door was also broken when we arrived and they didn’t care to fix the door until we checked out the next morning. Front desk claimed they couldn’t move us because they were booked full. Customer service was unapologetic and apathetic.

We stayed three nights in one of the cabins. Nice place, great value, and a very good breakfast. Only negative is all the construction going on in the immediate area. Still not too big of a problem.

Cool Viking themed property. Delicious dinner at their restaurant. Our heater was broken and they fixed it within 24 hours. Clean and comfortable for a family. Nice natural spring hot tub area.
