Once you've covered all the great places in Cercado de Lima, there's plenty more to explore in the region. Collect the keys to a rental car, throw your bags in the trunk and take to the open road. Here are some drives you're sure to enjoy:

• Head off to Chincha Alta for a fantastic sightseeing adventure. Approximately 110 miles from Cercado de Lima, it's home to numerous great attractions such as Plaza de Armas.
• Your next pit stop? Consider Huacho, which is around 75 miles away. Plaza del Sol Mall is one local highlight you shouldn't miss.
