There's so much to do in Little India, but head farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Pick up a set of wheels and you can discover the surrounding region at your own pace. Add these fantastic places to your list:

• You'll find Horseshoe Falls and loads of other intriguing sights in Niagara Falls. From Little India, it's approximately 40 miles away.
• Located 40 miles away, Hamilton is also popular with travelers. Allow time to get to African Lion Safari while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love this vibrant city.
• Algonquin Provincial Park is located 150 miles from Little India and is one of the region's most spectacular nature spots. Stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh air here.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Canada, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car.
